Ws2 or custom

Hey guys got some money comin and i was thinking about getting the apexi ws2 cb. but then i was thinking with the free flow design of the S would there be any point in getting a full cat back or should i just get two magnaflow mufflers and some headers.

Having to consider i can do the headers and the catback my self but the muffler change would have to be taken in. (shouldnt be too much tho.)

So thats the question.

poll and reasons thanks

If those are your only 2 choices, i would install the headers. then have a custom cat back magnaflow set up made. That way you can tailor the sound you like/want

Get headers first, you won't see that much gain from the cat back exhaust. I have DC sports headers paired up with Apexi II's.

The cat back exhaust is more for sound then anything else. I think the max hp gain your going to get out of it is 5hp, the headers are another story.

Getting a custom setup is a good way to save $$, and the performance is often better too. But getting the sound, fit, and look right is really tough if you don't know what you are doing.

I really like the A'PEXi products....we sell a few of these WS2 every month, and I even have one on my own Civic. Hard not to go with a system that looks, sounds, and performs as good as it does!

no one will be disappointed with the WS2 exhaust, i went from the comptech mufflers to the Apex'i, and would never go back!

does ws2 fit perfectly on the 00 tl-p, or is it a custom job like the magnalflows? also can't you get xs headers from ebay relatively cheap? I think someone posted they got some for 150.

I have a "custom" magnaflow exhaust. It was originally for the AV6 Accord. Everything bolts up, just need a 2 inch extension on the piping (20 bucks). The magnaflow system goes on ebay for about 500ish shipped.
Great sound and look like the comptech mufflers, but a bit more aggressive (see my pic thread):

WS2's are also a great, used to have one on my accord. The only thing that concerned me was the piping was not SS (axelbacks and the catback ones). I developed rusting issues after one winter, nothing severe but im sure it would get worse as time moved on. Or did Apexi change the piping material to SS?
