kaixen are very good- been running them 4 years now, see excelerate for them

off brand D2R, see hidextra.com...member here and maker of many parts- super low prices -mention acurazine

just got their full kit to fix the 01s problem, no night test results yet on bulbs

5 k will give you more actual light on the road to see with, the 6k loses some white
but both work better than stock at picking up the `reflecto paint` in lane markings, road signs, semi-truck reflecto tape etc- all light up at greater distance

see the Vendor list at top of pages here, next to log out box- has everyone that sponsors azine listed

the lows are HID, highs are halogen normal type bulb, and fogs are halogen/plain bulb

if you want matching fogs to the headlights, they make the HID kit for that in the correct size bulb

ck out www.hidextra.com- current sale is lowlow prices!

You're lucky you live in cali.. you can just go pick it up right from their warehouse...

Others have to pay like 25 shipped for bulbs... =(

ebay bulbs are not bad either... i had those for over a year now but driver side bulb turns off while making sharp turns... could be loose bulb or ballast or bad bulb... i tried to swap bulbs but was unable to take out the bulbs...

those sound great! cant remove them to replace now!!!

the light output and actual color rendering are what differs between makers
We have no real data on a lot of the parts- who makes them, behind the name on them,,,

that is a valid concern
BUT we found out that leaving the headlights off for several hours drops all remaining stored voltage from capacitor... and are then safe to work with!!!!

not really different than other gas bulbs- wear rubber/latex gloves to keep finger oils off the glass during install

dealer will ream you to install~ plus their price on bulbs!! yikes
body shop, I wouldnt trust the low man on totem pole given this job to wear gloves and do it correctly

DIY and done right!

oh no- you dont want to do it with housing on car--good way to break or lose the retainer clip

pop the nose of the car off- way easy,
remove housings from car and set on workbench
casually remove ballast from bottem if replacing it

for just the bulbs- look directly inside and see whats going on with that arm
the plug with wires pulls off
ck out the diy section for excellent help
