what muffler brands give better hp gains?
 

im trying to find out which kind of mufflers will provide my 02 acural tl type s with better HP gains. Im more interested in hp gain other than sound. I already have a Injen CAi and DC headers so can ne advise as to which brand is best. Cant decide on what to get, my bro says to get some HKS, my boys say to jump on a skunk evo2's, but then again they dont have acuras they all have jettas or eclipses.Reading on some threads every1 says ATLP others TANABE ..wow ... so many choices... for my tl aholiks out there what do you guys recommend??

I'd say the atlp its possibly the most favorite among most tl owners, I myself don't have the exhaust but I'm pretty convinced to save up and get it eventually hahaha

i tried finding those atlp exhaust but i cant seem to find any shop that carries these! are they disscontinued or what??

You NEED more than just mufflers to get better HP gains. You need a full cat back.

you might as well get a cold air intake and a full cat back exhaust.. I am running the AEM Cold air intake and cat back exhaust with dynomax mufflers.. I didnt even resonate it and its not too bad inside at all..

well i ended up going with a 3" single cat back exhaust for my 02 acura tl type s. It sounds freaknn DOPE !! loud:::::: i defenitely feel better torque gains going with a single pipe.I will post a video tomorrow so yall can peep it out.

im looking into getting an exhaust for my 03 tl s. i was looking at tanabe touring? any thoughts?
