What antifreeze to use for my 1998 Acura Integra?

Honda has their own coolant which is blue. There's an aftermarket company called OEM that sells coolant that meets Hondas spec and is also blue. Otherwise Prestone coolant should be ok.

Would you happen to know if royal purple ice would work in a Honda cooling system. Or at very least won't harm it? I seem to be getting very little info on the product of what it contains and if it's safe for Hondas/Acuras.

I was able to find the MSDS of the purple ice additive and yikes it does have some nitrates and silicates but they claim to contain less than 1% though. Is that about insignificant enough to matter or does Honda strictly require 0 silicates or nitrates/nitrites?

I myself use the prestone 50/50 with no ill effects

Yeah I'll probably wind up returning the royal purple as they mentioned that it contains a measurable amount of nitrites and borates and Honda coolant must be free of those. I'm sure it's probably not enough to cause harm but I'm not taking the chance at potentially reducing the reliability of my car.
