V-tec controller; reflash; remapping; or what?

Hi everybody....I have a '00 white TL w/ Apexi SST exhaust and AEM V2 intake. I'm trying to get a XS SST header because it's around half the price of the DC Sports (ceramic). I searched the forums and they're all dead ends. I need help w/ that and after the headers, what kind of management system works the best across the entire power gain range w/ the least amount of problems w/out breaking the bank. My other car is a '06 Civic Si that I bought new. I'm gonna wait 'til next year to hook it up. Thanks in advance.

What is SST?

Nobody has really been successful with any engine management on the J-Series yet.

Leave vtec where its set from the factory, there is no reflash or remapping available for our cars, there are small stand alones, but none are able to do everything.

to tune it. It can only do so much. there isnt one that does every thing for the car. Just like the e-manage. it will help but it lacks some features to tune on ours.

most likely not, you need like an emag, a stand a lone unit, but unless your really putting down some power its not worth the money. check in the CL side as they have done some crazy things.

For me it would cost next to nothing if it would drop in without any issues. A friend of mine is a tuner/builder/fabricator at King Motorsports who only work on Hondas/Acuras; if you don't know if them. So he would install/tune it for me for nothing and I would get the chip at cost.

I'll have him look into it and see if he can put one in!

There is nothing. I have even tried contacting Hondata myself.
