Have some FULLY Synthetic oil and filter ready to install.
Read the directions then read them again before installing

With a prefab kit you should be okay. Eventually if you want to get the most out of the turbo I would upgrade some of the engine components. But I'm no expert so I would talk to some one like Thinjim or BlueCLS. They've had turbos and know what's up.

how much did it cost you for the kit? what kind of turbo? how much you planning to boost? I believe our engines should be able to take stock boost at 5lbs, correct me if i'm wrong. But I'm pretty sure you'll be boosting more than that.

is there any shaft play in the turbine? The manifold is already made for the TL? Just wondering if you knew about turbos as in did your researching.

nice, do you know where they had that manifold made? Was the kit made for the TL? or the manifold was custom made? Why would you want to check the turbine if there's no shaft play?

You realize your gonna have a sick ass sleeper when its all good and running?

First question, are you install this kit yourself or having a performance shop do it? If you are doing it yourself, make sure you take it to a well known performance shop afterwards to check over your work and possibly fine tune it. Every car runs different, so the programming from speedr73's may not work as well on your car as it did on his.

Good luck bro, lookin forward to seeing it done!

^ I remember him talking about that. You should probably have those pipes re-done. If your lowered, those things are gonna crack in half.

when i had a turbo setup in my civic, i was told to redo the entire exhaust piping to allow more airflow out. So yes, it would be better to do so. If i can remember correctly, my stock piping was 2 inches or something around there. I upgraded to 2.5.

so how big is the intercooler? I'm pretty sure once that's on, it'll be pretty noticeable.

i know that some intercoolers are too big, and requires you to either cut that frame that proctects you from dying in a car accident. I forgot what that bar was called, but people often just take that out because of the size of their intercooler. I think it's called a front reinforcement bar or something like that.

Ahhh, you bought the kit before me... It's all good. Hope everything goes well with the install.

You would have to get the downpipe reworked cuz YOU WILL scrape on bumps. Everything you got in the kit is direct bolt-on.The only thing you would need to do is get the battery relocation kit by SUMMIT or other manufacturers who make them. You need room for the turbo. You would also need to trim a little bit of the crossmember.

If you are looking for a new turbo you should look into the precision pt67 with a .68 A/R .70 hotside. as that what Ryan was telling me. Fast spool with still pretty good HP. I'm in the process of building my kit right now. I'm debating on running a GT35R or a SC61. NOTE THAT IF YOU CHANGE THE TURBO, YOU WILL HAVE TO MODIFY THE PIPING.

I'll be running my turbo kit with Thermoblock spacers and UR pulleys. Hopefully it doesn't affect anything. You should be fine at 6psi of boost. Anymore boost than start looking to upgrade your motor like DJ A.K.A. blk2001on19s.

Recommend you sell all the innovate products and use that money to get it tuned professionally. Read up on Ryan's turbo build thread. This should give you an idea how everything should work.

GOOD LUCK BRO. KEEP US UP TO DATE WHEN THE KIT GETS FINISHED.

EDIT* INTERCOOLER WILL FIT...IT AIN'T THAT BIG.

make sure you get your car tuned. I didn't read this whole thread, but make sure that is done before hitting the streets.
