Tornado Gas Saver & Octane Boosters
Hey peeps whats up. Does anyone on here ever tried using the Tornado? (the metal circle that you put in your air intake box.) Does that shit really work? Also anyone here ever used Octane Boosters in their gas? Would that mess up the engine in any kind of way? Or make it perform better?

bottom line: tornado is a scam. even consumer reports looked at it.
as far as the octane booster goes....i would'nt mess with it. i don't know too much about it. if you really want a boost buy some racing fuel.
if you drive moderately in the TL (not flooring it all the time or racing it all the time....which is tough, believe me) you should easily pull 24-25mpg in town and up to 32-34mpg on the highway (i average 30 on short trips, 32 on long trips). it's good on gas considering the power on tap. don't worry about it.
just use fuel injector cleaner regularly.

my g/f bought her car used, 01 mustang V6, driving back from the TX coast it was acting up, i took a look at the air filter, throttle body area, and the previous owner had that pos tornado thing in there, i ripped it out, and that fixed the issues. if it really worked, don't you think the mfg's would do this also to satisfy the epa bastards!!
octane booster, you don't need it, the higher the octane the slower it burns resulting in less power for cars not tuned to burn it.
