I just recently got in an accident with my 99 tl was loking around for a new kit since i never really did any modifications except my stereo to my car was wondering what everyone thinks of the kit and if i should go ahead and do it... you might now want the fiberglass kit because it does flex as much as the oem which are polyurethan and they crack easily.

mike, id say order the kit online if its a real oem kit, i havent had time to read if it is factory oem but if it is id go with that instead of buying it piece by piece. that kit is rare to find and from what i know the kit from 99-01 is slightly different from the kit in 02-03

 

Lip kit + drop = what I want to do.

I personally dont think the body kits are BAD looking per se, but I'd stay away from fiberglass like everyone said, otherwise you'd be replacing it much sooner than you think. Sucks that there are so few choices for body kits.

 

expect to pay $$$ for the factory kit as it is hard to find and expenisve and most likly yo are going to have to repaint to match your car
