quicker shifts
Not sure if there is a way to do this on the TL's, but on my old maxima (2002) I had what was refered to as the "Drop Resistor" mod. There was a plug that, when disconnected, allowed full line pressure in the auto tranny, which basically equated faster shifting. It was actually too harsh for regular driving, it would bang into gear very hard unless under 3/4 or more throttle. But I had a switch wired in so I could "turn on" the harder shifting when I wanted it.
I have no clue if the TL has anything similar, but it might be worth looking into. Check Maxima.org for more details on the Maxima version of this mod.
Goodluck

nope, not unless you know how to crack the honda code in the ECU. theoretically if you knew what you were doing you could modify the valve body assemblies and make it do so. But on our trans the way it is im not sure it would be a good idea
