I'm thinking there is no such thing as high performance pistons, rods, etc. for a 1999 3.2 TL. I've searched everywhere. And. Nothing. I'm looking to get my motor rebuilt. I love my car and the high mileage is beginning to worry me.

 

how many miles do you have? these motors can hit 200k + without worry, infact ive never heard of anyone here blowing the motor.

 

I'm at about 187,000 right now. I'm sure I have another 100,000 miles left in it, but hey... better safe than sorry, no?

 

You can build a bigger, better, more powerful engine using OEM Honda parts. Type S heads, pistons, or RL pistons, Odyssey crank and rods for a 3.5L Type S motor. THere are plenty of threads on it.

 

Unless there is something wrong with your motor i wouldnt waste the time rebuilding it to make it last longer. If your looking for more power do you homework. We can turn our motors into 3.5s with factory parts. Also most of the places like JE do make pistons for our cars.
