o4komodo's 2 Piston Rear BBK

Howdy ho.
I'm popping over from the 3G side.

I have recently completed my first batch of rear BBK brackets for the 3G TL. I did a little research and found out that the rear 2G and 3G are incredibly similar. So, I grabbed a rear 2003 TL-S A-Spec spindle from my U-Pull and verified fitment.
Below you'll see photos of my bracket on the spindle with no modifications. It fits as is. Although, the lower arm on the spindle is designed differently from the 3G and so it rubs slightly with my bracket. A slight revision will be made to this bracket to allow fitment for both 2G and 3G TLs.

With the bracket you will be able to use either
a) 350Z/G35 rear 2 piston Brembos with matching 350Z/G35 12.6" rotors and pads
or
b) 370Z/G37 rear 2 piston Akebonos with matching 370Z/G37 13.8" rotors and pads

You will be able to retain your stock parking brake.

But, of course, I am not a verified seller (yet) so I cannot discuss sales. Just thought I'd share and pass along the information.

There is a possibility this will fit 6G Accords as well as I read they share same suspension as 2G TL but I have not confirmed this myself yet.

No other modifications needed to the bracket and/or hub/rotor. Just cut the rear backing plate and you're good to go.

I'm interested in the rear bracket. Do the fronts offer any advantage over the RL BBK?

A 14" front BBK will only have advantages at the track.

14" front will increase the braking bias forward. But it's main benefit is the ability to stay cooler longer. When assuming 6piston it will provide the ability of additional clamping force over a wider area.
