he might of been tring to sell garbage but i find it interesting given that i havent seen anyone talk about working on the head of the Jseries... maybe its gonna be a complete fail...maybe its gonna give me 35hp and i'm gonna love it...I dont know all I've been saying from the begining is there has to be other ways of getting a bit more power then just bolt-ons without going FI... you did suggest port and polish the IM i beleive thats another idea.

probably cause the guy is a 4cyl honda guru... there is a shop around here called chassel who has been working in honda/acura for 20 years... he named me every part that could be swapped from a 1999 1.6 EL to a civic just off the top of his head... he's got like 20 jseries sittin in his yard... i've been thinking of buying one just to experiment a lil.

man im not even trying to be mean this jjashaa kid has picked on me since the first day i was a member... not everyone thinks the TL/INSPIRE is a luxury pimp car... even acura sells it as a sport luxury sedan but hell what does acura know right...if you ask me the only reason why no ne has come out with any parts for the TL/INSPIRE is cause everyone seems to think its gonna be in 50cents next video...when the very first civic si came out do you think performance shops were like '' holy shit batman this crapbox is made to be quick lets take that 137hp and make it into a beast...heck lets race mustangs with it''. There's such a thing as supply and demand... if every 2nd gen owner decided to push for a ECU we'd get one but unfortunatly we have people like JJASHAA CHAN who enjoy acting like the godfather in a sport luxury sedan that everyone says is a good buy for the performance to price ratio...never heard CAR AND DRIVER say i'd buy the acura TL cause it has big rims and when its cold i can heat up my bum... most reviews are along the lines of '' good car...good quality...good performance...right price''

your right about that!! im with everyone on that but opinions shouldnt be so harsh i would say that they should be more of some kind of informative or such this thread has gone way out of proportion from his basis "DREAM TL" all im saying is that opinions should be so harsh as to tell some that they cant do something.....

hey guys i found a warlock airmass complete exhaust system...its brand new still in the wrapping...stickers and all... I was just wondering how much i could sell it for??? Its for a 96-98 civic...

never talked about hood scoops i was thinking some sory of ram air... like 1/4 of an inch opening in the begining of the hood with some tiny chrome mesh...maybe have a blue LED lighting it up or something...and anyways if the only way to get respect is to do up my car that i bought that i drive that i see every single day then KI** MY A**...as if i have to do the car up to your standards... respect should be earned by having a car and wanting to make it different make it yours...even if others might not like it whats important is that i like it.. you could paint your car baby sh*t brown and have a lime green interior man but if thats what you want and thats what you like then hell you've got my respect.

if you want to be different, call veilside... tell them to make you a fortune body kit, get gullwing doors, some cool hydrolics, some 20+ in rims, a ridiculous amount of stickers, and some underglows. I bet no one here on acurazine has done that, but +75hp to the TL has already been done.

AZ is tough on newcomers that have a long list of mods that are tough to do and maybe not be liked by everyone.
The more you stay here, the more you'll like it. And in the end, it's your car. You didn't have to take off the ram air hood from your list because jjasha said so. It's your car not his. thats what im gonna do... im gonna do it up to my taste...if i do try ram air its gonna be on a second hood if it looks like shit i wont put it on the car...i mean its not to hard to be civilized and give your opinion without being an ass... the 6speed is gonna be confirmed this week i'm waiting for a call from a shop to give me his price on the complete swap including the console and the clutch pedal and such... only thing i'm thinking is since i've got it in my hands i might go stage 2 clutch or stage 3 if i get really crazy

and I want a mid 13 second 1/4 mile car and i think that just with the 6 speed and the stage 2 clutch i might run low 14 add the bolt -ons maybe get the head done like i was thinking...( although i was told that doing the head of the motor would cause big problems for the block...but thats if the head is full racing setup...I was thinking more of moderate performance setup) all in all i want 260-270whp and a 6 speed with a sweet exterior...
