plus montreal roads are fucked, 10x worse then here in gta, and u guys got cops on almost all hwys and onramps, this car to me is a cruiser.
and honestly if your going to spend so much on a car, get a different honda or ac, invest into a new accord or tl, and get ur 400hp goal with all ur monies

ok since none of you have been to my profile i have 5-6 pics of my aspec in my yard if you want i can show you my custom blacked out tailights i give a f*** add me on msn i'll webcam it if you want... by the way look up the chevy LSX V8 capable of over 2500bhp and it turns 8k...nascar sure as hell dont turn 5900rpm...

all i said was that we have no proof that a totally race spec J32A2 cant put out good NA power because its never been done...maybe mugen and spoon didnt come out with any parts for these cars cause targeted clientele is 45yrs old and cant change oil in deepfry. On official honda sites at the acura dealer i keep hearing '' the J series is very far from maximum potential'' but hell what do they know right...i mean honda/acura has always put out engines capable of so much more but for the Jseries they went and pulled a ford...its maxed out cant be done close the books!!!!

i also only said i had picked out the stuff that i want which in a later post i cleared up when i said '' when i go back to work...recession...construction...'' meaning its in my plans to buy...i have the car in the yard its been 14 months I have a SRI and I did my own tail lights all while on unemployement...i do live in canada unemployement isin't a six figure income just yet!!!

no i blacked out the entire red part leaving the silver normal...then i taped a big square area on the tail-light and cut out the acura badge...tinted the lights and then removed the acura badge tape...now my running lights are blacked out except for 2 acura signs showing up bright red and even brighter when i hit the brakes...its not in the pics those pics are old but i'll webcam them right now!!!

I already knew about the LSX, its an iron block beast designed for drag race applications. Though I don't watch NASCAR, the Cup engines spin over 10,000 RPM..... but that's with a pushrod engine.
Sorry but if you're going to Mugen, it's going to be a hell of a lot of money (as if they weren't overpriced as it is) and your J-series isn't really going to be a J-series anymore by the time you're done with it trying to make 500whp NA. It's just not cheap either.... it's much easier to go FI for gains like that. Even with a plain LS1, 383 stroker (from 5.7L to 6.3L) and heads/cam, 500whp isn't even guaranteed and they already dyno 300 to the wheels stock.
A TL is great as it is..... a luxury sedan made for cruising. It sounds like you want to build a race car. If you go about it this way, people with the right cars will end up spending a fourth as much as you do and still destroy you.

dude i even said 75hp more would be plenty for me i'm not trying to build a race car i JUST WANT 75HP thats enough to do what i want to do...mugen was just an example but all i was trying to say is that the Jseries can be turned into a beast with the right amount of money...saying its impossible to get 400na hp at the crank out of our blocks sounds a tad bit negative to me...

75hp and the 6speed conversion would do 2nd gen tl's so much good... and around here like i said nobody mods anything...you see stuff like that youtube mustang on every corner...

dude, sell your car. The tl is not made to race. You make it look nice and pimp. Your not suppose to go out and race mustangs and civics with it. You got a car which was worth more then most mustangs and civics so WHY DA FAWK DO YOU CARE? Theres always going to be something faster. This thread has just gotten pointless. If your going to fix up your car, do it and show. Dont talk about it if you have no intentions to really do it. You dont have a sports car. Take it easy and relax. Plus, we do have members on Azine that try to squeeze every bit of power out of our TL-s and no, I don't think anyone here has even made it past 400whp with FI so gl w/ the 500hp all motor. Do it and prove all of us wrong.

by the way there is no A in the headlight... only tail-light...and if i wanted to buy a honda inspire i'd be 5'2 my family name would be chan and i'd love noddles and karate...I've got an Aspec i love it...have loved it for many years and now I have my own...And I really apologize if 75hp is a stupid oh my god Im so crazy number...AND I SAID FOR LOTS OF MONEY 500HP CAN BE DONE...ANYTHING CAN BE DONE...BUT I WANT ONLY 75HP...JUST TO BE ABLE TO RACE STOCK MUSTANGS AND SRT4'S. By the way if you ask me buying a TL as a PIMP car is kinda posing...its a sport luxury sedan not a poor mans cadillac...i just want a sportier luxury sedan...but hell for everyone here's sake I'm gonna debadge the entire car sit it on some 20's maybe get a solid gold license plate and some fuzzy dice... try my very hardest to make it into the only inspire ever sold in the america...hell the guy from the youtube video could be my best friend we'd both have cars that cleary dont exist(mustang GT-R,American sold Inspire)...Hell lets start a club we can all drive fake inspire's and if i try my very hardest i'm positive i can make it look just like an escalade...

and a 3.2 bored and stroked up to a 3.7 which acura will still guarantee must put out 3-4hp more at the maximum with oversized pistons and stuff and completely redone heads the car might go from 260 all the way up to about 267-270

well an acura in my books is still an acura its not a mercedes its not a cadillac its an acura...ppl buy acura's cause they are well priced for what you get...its a quick car for what it is maybe cause its a SPORT luxury sedan....with that said when i'm cruising around and i pull up beside a 19yr old in a srt4 and his car load of hot taco I'd like to be able to stay beside him and not have to say at the next light ''man its a pimp car thats why its not fast its got 6cd's and electric seats dude its not made to go fast''... regardless of what i'm driving i always wanna a bit quicker then the majority...my integra was quicker then most NA integra's and now i want my TL to be a nice luxury car that has decent get up and go...When i civic gets beat by a suzuki swift does he pull the window down and say well ya but this civic is fully equiped and it scored really good in the safety ratings...

in my books a loss is a loss regardless of what your driving...if you guys dont race your TL good for you...I DO... and its caused a good few suprises yet...now i'm looking to give it a bit more juice to move up a notch...75hp and a 6spd!!!!!
