well since it is written my DREAM TL im guessing it meant that if everything goes perfectly...which means going back to work soon...recession...construction...but hey if i was gonna dream small i'd have bought a tl-p and tried my very hardest to turn it into an Aspec!!!

i stopped modding my car after i interned at a subie performance shop... the 2g TL is not the easiest car to mod and you don't have a lot of performance parts made for this... i.e. cusco doesn't make coilovers for the UA5

just for some feed bak...for the price of ur project list...i would just get a new car lol...i wish thats what i could have done lol...theres no way to tune our ECUs...u can get an UNICHIP but it doesnt really do much...ur calculations for HP r waaay off...CAI only gives like 5hp...if even...pulley...5hp if even...headers give bout 20hp...
even if ur boosted...u might not even break 300hp...u might b close to 300 tho
if ur boosted...then i would find a way to cool down the engine bay...im in the process of figuring that out myself...

well i bought the car and made sure to get a Aspec cause first of all i loved it bought the car before even seeing it...second of all its my thrid acura and im never changing brands....third of all its a luxury car and man I might be crazy but around here any car making sound is either a civic or a mustang...most guys just slap some walmart cherry bombs on there mustangs and think they're driving a viper. The tl-s even 2nd gen Isin't that far from a mustang i mean we cant come out the box as well but with the mods list im gonna be rippin about 85% of the mustangs around here. If i wasnt so in love with my car hell i'd have bought a 93 hatchback civic slapped a 350 in it and made it rwd but then i'd be driving a 93 sh*tbox with a 350...Im just saying i want my car(cause i love it so much) to take most of the mustangs or atleast suprise a good few of them. And no i'm not doing it for that reason only i love speed my dad always had fast cars or bikes and i want my tl-s to be a notch above respectable. By my standards if i can beat or stay next to a 227hp impreza or an SRT4 i'm happy .

and if your numbers are good im close to 290 without the heads... add the heads i might be at 320 with your numbers...sway the AT for the 6speed and i should be able to kill most mustangs...remember guys im from canada...hippies didnt die they just all moved to canada man...if i see two mustangs with more then just exhausts per month its a good month...i just see 50 mustangs a day with exhausts kinda like this dude...

lol met a chick wednesday walked right up to me and she's like holy shit dude no body drives a TL around here man nice fuckin car...asked her what she drives she said 85 monte carlo but that she had to wash off all the burnt rubber on the car from her last trip to the drag races before tkaing it out...i think im in love lol dont tell my girl...

see just checked a cl-s that ran 14.0 at 103 and these are his mods:
V6 3.2
AEM cold air intake
Headers Comptech replica
P2R Throttle body spacer
P2R Intake manifold spacer
Random Technology hi-flow cat
UR aluminium crank pulley
Mugen thermostat
Mugen fan switch
Since ported planed and polished heads increase the performance of every one of those parts i'm guessing i could run 13.8 maybe even 13.7

theres only 4-5 performance mods on there...thats counting the spacers n hi-flow...most of the headers out there for the TL r 1 in the same...the price difference is if ur willing to fork up the $$ for the carb sticker that comes with it...

im in montreal man and as far as the turbo/supercharger go i've heard things about engine life that don't please me to much...basically i just wanna run 13.7-13.8 and be reliable...I dont want a beast but i wanna be better then a civic with a stock B18...like i said most ppl around here dont do much or know much about cars...tell them your fridge has vtech and they're gonna take it to the races...at the same time im guessing 13.7-13.8 is good enough for the 3series and the g37...also wanna take care of daddy's boy with his birthday present SRT4...the impreza i can live with its a great car...i've already got a project for just drag racing i just want the acura to be great looking and moderatly performant. I knew a guy who put a SC on his tl-p and he couldn't get under 9sec on the 1/8 of a mile... a SS ENVOY stock took him now that hurts me being an acura man and all. 75hp more at the crank in total is plenty for me.

from numerous sources the SRT-4 runs low 14's on average so that shouldnt be to hard to handle. The g37 runs 13.8 so thats a good competitor. The 3 series 13.6 so thats a bit much but GOD would i love to take one of them someday.

has anyone ever sent their entire engine to a company like spoon and just ask for 500hp NA i really beleive this car is capable of lots given its size and weight...double cam it bore strock sand file claw at with your fingernails but turn that 2nd gen 3.2 into a fire breathing 3.7l monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Ive got 50 000$ that says someone can do it!!!!

Complete racing rebuild lightweight drivetrain the whole drivetrain!!!! 6spd and with just enough money i bet mugen will make a ECU for us. Im really high right now but I've got faith in this car...If a seventeen yr old kid can make a quick B18 then gentlemen we need to reply we need an insane j series!!!!

That reminds me HONDA/ACURA hasn't really been as impressive in the tuning world lately and specially with the NSX getting scraped i mean f**k wont be long we'll all be driving hybrids like toyota's!!!!!!!!!!!

but honestly i'm just saying i havent really seen anybody on acurazine that has completely changed the internals of the J series everyone does bolt-ons or FI but I'd be curious to see what would happen if someone did that... I have been told at acura that our motors can be acura guaranteed up to 3.7L...

I have a friend with a 3.8 trans am and he rips mustang's all day with his setup and he's NA...seeing as how he redlines at 6 500 a done up J series i would believe could run 8 000 safely...
