Magnaflow axle-back on TL-P

Has anyone done and axle-back setup on a TL-P using Magnaflow mufflers? I searched the performance forum and only found people who have done cat-back systems with the Magnaflows. I am interested in how loud they when used in an axel-back. Not looking to make a bunch of noise and I'd hope the factory resonators would help that. Any info would be a great help.

Thanks,
Paul

i dont know how much help i will be since i havent put magnaflows on my brothers 2nd gen but my roomate had the axle back and it wasnt loud at all. if it does get on your nerves, or is not the tone you wanted, its easy and inexpensive to put in a longer resonator...you dont have to get fancy with it, pretty much any one will do the trick (of smoothing out the tone) if its longer than the oem one

Thanks Subinf. I don't really want to play around with the stick piping to the axels (ie. replacing resonators), otherwise I might as well do a cat-back kit. Thanks for the info though.

Thanks Delerium, I'll shoot him a PM. I am surprised more people have not done just an axle back with the Magnaflows...

Later,
Paul

when i was first changing my exhaust, i left the stock resonator on with my magnaflows...wasn't a big sound difference at all. The stock resonator does an excellent job of muffling nearly any exhaust sound, the only audible exhaust note from the magnaflows was on quick accelerations, and only for a second.

I have a full custom magnaflow cat-back w/18" resonator and love the sound. I don't think it's too loud. It sounds very deep and throaty.
