Lose bumper

Hey guys,

So today I took off my bumper to remove the intake resonator as I wait for my CAI..and when I put it back on, the right (driver side) of the bumper appeared to be loose.

I don't want to go through the hassle of removing the bumper and clipping/bolting everything back properly until I receive my CAI...

So my question is,

If it rains or if I wash the car, could water seep through and get to my fog wires? Or is there some kind of cover where water can't get there? I'm scared they could get fried or something along those lines.

Thanks guys!

Unless you have an aftermarket hid kit right there where the water would get in by don't worry about it, factory wires can get wet, and plug have a rubber gasket to keep the connection clean

Unfortunately I do have an aftermarket HID kit in the fogs which is why I'm a bit worried.

I guess I have to man up and fix that bumper then...hate unscrewing, unclipping and unbolting haha

Thanks guys!

And yeah I have the car kept really well. I'm lucky I got handed down an 03' TL-S A-Spec with only 45k kilometres

Just fix it now. When you get your CAI you won't need to remove the bumper. Just take off drivers side front tire and pop out a few clips from the splash guard. It will peel back an give you plenty of room to access the area you need to be in.

So if the bumper lost, then what exactly won?

hehe,

Worse thing that will happen is that the fuse will blow, just don't turn on the fogs.

Thanks for the replies guys, but I finally manned up, took off the bumper and carefully placed it back properly. It's fine now.
