K-Sport Coilovers: Good or Bad?

I want to get some of these and they sound really good...has anyone used these before? They are cheaper than the Teins and they come with the upper pillow ball mount...so i dont have to dump 400 in camber kits...any input?

good. mine is tucking in the back with slight camber but nothing too drastic. plus i think you may only need camber correction in the back because from what i've seen the front isnt tucking like the back.

also depends on how low you go obviously. btw, dont you have to get camber correction w/tiens too?

good luck

well dont they have the camber adjustment on the top of the coilover? I thought you could adjust the toe with the top of the coilover
http://www.ksportusa.com/products/kontrolpro.html
"The pillow ball top mounts also allow you a more direct feel for solid driver response. Camber adjustability is included on pillow ball top mounts that allow it for the ability to adjust camber from the actual coilover, instead of a separate camber kit."

That is correct. However, the applications that apply to our car found here http://www.ksportusa.com/products/us...lications.html do not come with pillow ball top mounts.

K Sports only come with pillowball upper mounts/camber adjustment for cars with Macpherson style struts. The CL/TL does not have that. We get aluminum upper mounts. It is still a great setup. You may have to buy a rear camber kit.

How is the ride quality? I'm guessing you can only adjust ride height and not dampening for these? Are they stiff? Are they a quality product? Compared to apexi and tein i mean..

you can adjust the dampening on all 4 -- hard to soft. i've got mine set on soft in the front and 2 turns (middle of hard and soft) in the rears (which i need to change )). i would say they are a quality product.

this sounds great. coilovers with ride height adjustment and dampening adjustment for a decent price. why isn't there much info on these?

How much they go for? around $500-600?

I got mine for 680 shipped. See Post 5 -- I think Excelerate has them in the Group Buy Sponsored by For sale forum.

I have the ksports and am riding with them soft all the way around. So far they have been a little stiffer then I'd like.

What are your roads like in your area? If they are anything like mine (I drive in DC daily) I would pass on the ksports and get something that is more soft. I also got mine from excellerate.
