don't get me wrong snow tires will get you through allot more then all seasons, and studded ones through ice, but i think it is kinda hard for people to justify a second set of tires (let alone storing them, but i know where our tires are done, they offer tire storage for a price though [i don't know the amount though]), it's hard enough to just sell them new tires in the first place (allot of times it has to be completely bald, not just the wear bars missing)
also people already have enough complainants about the tire noise on all seasons, so try winter tires then
also studs are horrible for the roads themselves, and we already got shitty enough roads here (and thin when compared to say Utah's, you can actually hear a difference from the tire drown/noise when you cross state borders [ours roads are much higher pitched for noise wise)
and you should see the state highway that i drive on to work everyday, some massive tires ruts, hard to tell, but i would say a good 1" or so deep, and this is not some highway in the boonies either, it's 4 lanes total, with it being the main highway into town from denver (basically if you are coming anywhere from near denver you travel on that highway)

You may have the mentality that "insurance" will fix or replace the car but its people with this mentality i worry about hitting and killing my family when situations could be avoided with snow tires. I dont want to hear "oh then you have to store them" Storing 4 tires for most is very easy. (buy them thru many car dealers and they store them for you)
I find it very interesting that in todays society where every one demands top safety with every thing from coffee makers, baby cribs to cars that they are so missinformed and dont want to take the time to have safe tires and have the mentality that "oh my all seasons get me through snow just fine"

More miss conception. My snow tires are quieter than any all season i have had.

and i proably should have put that insurance thing in red
and car dealers storing tires, they also charge a preminuim for those tires in the first place, so they need to do something extra, and i meant if you want to store them yourself (like a apartment, but a storage unit is easy enough, but still an added expense for most, that they don't want to pay), but yeah easy enough to pay someone to store them for you though
and don't get me wrong with how coffee places have to have caution:hot on cups of coffee, people shold know that already, but this is america afterall , we should not be so sue happy especially for stupid shit at that

you also have to compare the same quality of tire and not some cheapo's all seasons compared to some really nice snow one's, just to be fair for them (with the same amount of wear also, cause that effect's noise also)

I practice what i preach (i was a little late on ordering them this year but the new ones have been ordered) and i have been having fun the past few days with them (as seen by the center that is more worn) and this tire is still quite and doesnt make much road noise, is smooth and doesnt slap the expansion joints. These in this state still out brake typical all season tires.

Nope, not over inflated, but the motor has no problem spinning them in 2nd and quite often 3rd causing the center to wear out faster.

I know I'm kind of late, but listen. You can use the old harness, as for the VSA, I never found it necessary. As for the IMRC, it can be wired up down the road if need be. The 4-speed transmissions can handle the J32A2, it's been done before in a few 6th gen accords. .. just my

or just go for a full standalone ecu
ethier way depending on the tranny, you would have to use it's ecu for it, with all of it's wiring and such, for it to work
you just may not relize the full potential out of the motor though with the wrong ecu (ie: no runner control with a 4-speed ecu, or a lower rev limiter)

Someones offering me a type s motor with 80k for 500 with the wiring harness but I have a 99. I been trying to find a type crashed so I can take the motor and tranny and all that good stuff I need but 500 seems like a deal for the motor.
