Intakes on a budget
Alrighty, I posted a thread about some power mods. Now I'm asking the question, "Which intake?" I have just a few choices as most of you know, and I've read precious posts about this same topic and people seem to lean toward the Icebox, but I'm thinking I want to really "hear the power". I was leaning towards AEM V2. Let me know what you think.
Thanks again for help in advance.

"Fit" means a lot of things.
The issue is the TLP intake piping is 2.75" and the TypeS throttle body is 3". Do the math.
Larger intake piping = more air = Happy engine.
hmm.. back to the topic.
i have the AEM V2. performance-wise i would say its on par with the icebox. only difference is you'll get a hum on idle and an industrial power vacuum suction noise when higher revs are reached in the V2. the icebox is close to stock in sound.
