which exhaust system for 2003 tl type s?
Hi guys,
One of my mufflers separated from the exhaust pipe coming in from behind it. It is just being held up by the hangers now but moves around like crazy and hangs really low. Anyways i am thinking of getting a good quality stainless steel catback exhaust system. What are some of the good ones out there? I dont want something that sounds too loud and ricey but a nice tone when i step on it .
I also have a set of DC sport ceramic coated headers and an RD series injen CAI which i will be installing at the same time i do the exhaust.

ATLP is the best one out there if you can find it. Comptech is the next best. You could have an exhaust shop do something custom for a fraction of what most systems cost using magnaflow dynomax, or flowmaster mufflers and some new larger exhaust pipe. I personally would recommend the Dynomax VT mufflers. I have heard them and they work well and sound good. I have a pair waiting for me to try out.

where can i buy the atlp? and how much would i be looking at?
Also a friend was telling me to get the tanabe MT? Would that be a good one for the tl?
I prefer to just buy one whole piece rather than having it custom built by a shop. I just wana get this thing done and over with

I'd actually highly recommend the Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust.

T304 stainless steel, high quality, great sound, no drone.
Oh and none of the wait common to all the other systems on the market. CT-E is discontinued too.

I wanted one of those but it looks like the only thing with 2.5" piping is altp or custom. I know the atlp is 2.5 to a y split to 2.25. I'll have to decide which one to go with later.
