..exhaust..
So there is a local shop that does custom exhaust near me and I was pondering the thought of a custom exhaust. Now I have seen many custom dual exhaust's on our cars but never seen a single exhasut like the WRX type's.
Do you think 1 pipe compared to 2 pipes would make any difference??
Thanks

single pipe is and not really the car starts as 2 (down pipe from headers) collects into one then splits into 2 so i dont think it would make a difference unless you change the size of the pipe

Why would you even think to go single when we have dual? Dual looks way cleaner on our cars then a single. And no I doubt it would make any difference

If there were a way to pull our lower valences up like you can on SRT's then I think it would look badass..but the fact that there is gonna be an unfilled hole if you can't, it wouldn't look that great

it all depends on what you choose as to mufflers and the piping you mate them too..
wanting more air flow on your current state isn't gonna get you any positive feedbacks.
only way you'd get gains from a 3" is if you're fully built with 3.5 or similar or if your boosted.

i find it better. im getting more power then the duals
and honestly, we are not even TRUE duals
we're going from single to a Y-split for dual mufflers
compared to single exhaust, it seems like you are loosing power when splitting at Y-pipe in the end. and pressure is uneven
more airflow on the right side then left
so much for "duals"
if you got the $$$, change your piping size, with a nice axleback
or if you want to go "custom" and do something different,
split into dual pipes from the headers, or cat if your keeping it
therefore your cat/headers, will act like an X-pipe
just as two headers join, and become one pipe, it will turn out into two separate pipes
and single pipe can look good, just have to set it off right
