Does AEM bypass valve fit AEM V2 intake?

Quick Question. I sent back my intake because they sent me the wrong one. They guy appologized and said he would upgrade me to the V2 intake for free. So i said ok. I was origionaly planning on getting an AEM CAI with a bypass valve, but now that I am getting the AEM V2, does the AEM bypass valve fit it or need it or what? Thanks

Why is the bypass valve a waste of money? I'm not being a smart ass, I'm just a newbie - I ordered my AEM V2 a little while ago for my 08 TL, I'll install it next weekend - but I'm in Ohio where we get plenty of rain - wondering about the bypass valve.

Thanks-

bypass valves are an insurance like a back up that you wont get water into your engine, if the filter is not getting submerged into water(which i doubt will happen) and if you are not pushing the throttle during this you will be fine

but if you like the security of having it by all means do it up

They also sell a filter minder gauge, so you know when to clean the filter. Probably a wise investment.
