DC Header installed: Another thread
My local shop installed DC header yesterday night. Total installed time is 3 hrs with the first 2hrs are for removing bolts! It's a little bit hard to align everything together, but the fitment is good with no issue. I don't have any drone, resonance or vibration issue, but I have little hissing/whisping sound when step hard on gas at above 2.5K rpm up to around 4k especially when in 4th or 5th gear. The sound is similar to hissing sound in AEM CAI. I notice that if I step on gas slowly, then there is no hissing sound. The shop could not find any leak so far and they said it's normal for header. Anyone know anything about this? The gain is much noticeable at 5k and above. Overall, you can't beat the price for a brand name header. I'm very happy and loving it!

The CARB cert is still pending, at least thats what it said on the instructions. I'm sure they won't have a problem getting certified. Although unlike you california guys I don't have to worry about that here in good ole Wisconsin

No, work has been just crazy, so I am going to drop my car off one of these days, hopefully soon, at King Motorsports and have them install my Crank Pulley and Headers I hate wasting the money but oh well. I also wanted to see what their thoughts about the 3.5L upgrade are, and how much they would do it for.

I'm in love with the car each day pass. I already wasted half a tank of gas on only 100miles driving with reving Car feels very strong when it hits above 4-5k rpm just like double dose of v-tec. Hope the CARB exempt gets approved soon.

Just a little FYI for people that may have had fitment issues or wonder if they put the front header on the back and the back on the front. I don't know if this is the same from the earlier ones that were shipped but it says right on the header now which one is the front. On one header there is a model number on the flange HHC5522F, this means front, the other one is HHC5522, this is the rear. So if you had these installed and a shop chopped up your headers to make them fit because they didn't fit right, like I had seen on either here or v6performace you may want to take a look at this.
