Cat Delete/Straight Pipe Q? re sensors

I searched the threads but still a lil confused bout using a straight pipe. The shop doing the work on my TL now says they can fabricate a straight pipe, but I am going with an OBX since i am in a time crunch and want to make sure I dont want to run into issues with wrong fit or cost overrun. What if anything must I get to avoid throwing codes with the cat delete? I'm in a crunch i need to get the parts by friday so need to order by monday.

you can put a spark plug non fouler in the hole were your oxygen sensor is. Then screw oxygen sensor in to this so it will be out of the direct exhuast flow. This should stop the check engine light from coming on.you can buy these from autozone for like 3 dollars .Just make sure its a long one and same size thread or else the oxygen sensor wont fit in it.

Exactly...This is more or less the only way for custom made straight pipes...

You will have to have a O2 bung welded into the test pipe to do this though.
