For the past month or so, when i'd drive the heck out of my car in SS, i'd give it the push from 2nd to 3rd, and it wouldnt move. After the 1st or 2nd time, I started expecting it and always come off the throttle completely when trying to go from 2nd to 3rd. Today, I was coming down a 2 lane road (1 up, 1 back) and I went into SS and tried to make a pass... imagine my dismay when I found myself bouncing off the rev limiter when my 4+ attempts to tell it to go to 3rd didnt work. Has anyone else experienced this? I mean, I guess I could just not use SS mode, but that just makes me feel like I drive an auto, and even though I do drive an auto, its fun convincing myself that I dont.

 

yes i had that happened when i was driving on teh track, after 6 laps or so it started to do that and i immediately slow down and cool down the tranny

this is one of the sign that tranny is going out soon, probably have 10% life left, a month later i burnt the ATF and i had to get a new tranny

for now u better change the ATF a few times to get some new fluid, the old ATF probably not good

I've always had that problem with my car.. I hafta push it really hard, and sometimes more than once

 

i have had this problem with my car as well. seems only in the summer time. mostly when i floor it in 2nd and it downshifts into high first then snaps into second. then it won't shift into third. so i have to put it in auto then some times neutral and it works fine.
