I've done lots of mods and worked with multiple vendors over the years.

These 2 vendors - Apex Limit and ERP Brakes - are on the top of my losers list.

They lack any sort of customer service and or engineering expertise. The problem was the brake lines did not fit correctly. They were both too long and had the rears had the wrong angle on them. On top of this, one of the lines didn't even have the threads cut in it.

I sent them pics of the OEM lines matched against theirs to show them the issues. After countless attempts, in the end they just quit responding back to me . . . leaving me with a set of non functional parts and no refund on top of it.

The problem was that I tried working with them to fix the problem. At first they showed interest in working with me. I gave them feedback, measurements and even pictures to help them fix the problems. By time they became unresponsive (more than 90 days) I was told by eBay and Paypal it was too late to take any action. For those familar with the Innovative Motor Mounts problems, it can easily take 90 days or more when you are dealing with re-engineering, field testing, shipping, etc. In the case of Innovative, I spent more 2 years or so working with them on fixing the mount design problems. The about another year with Excelerate and a new fabricator.

Anyway, my lesson learned is that I need to get something in writting stating that they'll refund my money if the resolution goes more than 60 days. I might also want them to cover all shipping costs . . . maybe I should start charging vendors a consulting fee to help them get the design right.

or buy from known tested sources,,excelerate has a few brands of lines

how much is your frustration/time worth? over 100 bucks of bad decision...

I used to get all the problem parts- glad to see who took over when I retired!!-

Yeah, they were going to save me $75 over Excelerate and since I've been out of a job I rolled the dice and came up snake eyes.

I get most of my stuff from Excelerate and there's only been one problem the 2 of us couldn't fix. The pair of Vibrant Stealth Mufflers didn't perform as advertised. They were too loud and even with a 2nd ultra quite resonator it's still too loud. Once I get some cash I'm going to try some CC Inserts and hope that works.
