Well I've been on this forum about a year or so now.... I got a 99 tlp. Right now Im in the process of doing the cl-s 6 swap, already have the motor transmission, ecu, harness and most of the small things for the swap. Im just pickin up a few more goodies for the swap. I got the motor and trans (78,xxx miles) with ecu, harness, gauges, center console, pedals, linkages, and the shifter assembly for about 2800 which wasn't a bad deal. But I need to get a new clutch before i put it in. Im probably pickin up richies headers (the xs power ones) and a comptech ice box sometime soon. Im hopin by the end of the month to start it up. But being in college money doesnt come by too quick. The car has some other mods done to it already... Power Slot Slotted rotors front and rear, KYB AGX Shocks and H&R Sport Springs, 03 Tl'S Taillamps, 6 disc changer outa the 03 Tl's as well as the type S rims and recently repainted the car graphite grey pearl (Off the IS300).... I have the sarona roof spoiler and Mugen replica spoiler layin around just need to be painted and put on... as well as a wings west lip kit (But I might need to sell that to get a better clutch on the swap)... I'll hopefully get pictures up of the car by the end of the week to see what people on here think of the paint and and I'll also need some advice. I know its an old car but its treated me pretty well for the past 2 years I've had it and after readin about the swap i decided to dive in finally but right now money is holdin me from finishin it. Im thinkin that by the end of the month all the work should be completed. I'll keep everyone posted on the progess but i also would need some input on the swap.... Anyone know of a good clutch kit that i can pit up cuz it seems like everythin is outa stock everywhere
