The air going in is dense with oxygen and is cold. The air going out is hot and has a different composition. Additionally, the intake air has a lot shorter distance to travel than the exhaust gas.
3" in does certainly not mean 3" out is ideal!
That's kind of a simplified response but ya, 3" exhaust would definitely be reserved for turbo cars.

People are intimidated by the word "wait".
Atleast we're almost complete with the list and before you know it you'll have $$ and then we'll have exhausts. ^_^

Hey there folks!
We started making calls today. Actually called everyone on the list so far.
We have 3 payments in full
One half payment
One potenital full payment later today (has to come bring cash)
and we had to leave messages for 3 folks
and one person we were unable to leave a message.
So I am going to resend the sales order to the folks that we didn't contact now in emails. Look out for those emails!

Emails sent to the folks we could not get a hold of on the phone. Once we get all current orders paid in full we are going to drop the preorder status on heeltoeauto.com and convert to backorder status, indicating we will place our order with ATLP and begin production on the parts.

damn ya'll dudes are lucky.. congrats on getting ten this time around... trust me this exhaust i totally worth the loot and the wait.. i went from comptech --> ATLP. def worth it..

Got one more full payment today and more partials over the weekend! Updated status coming today.
I met with Mike ATLP yesterday and told him to get started making some exhausts. We should HOPEFULLY be shipping within this month!
HOWEVER!!!! We don't know how many kits we will be making yet or if there will be any extra. So if you want one and are not already bought in, you need to order NOW!
