Nothing beats good tools. Penetrant won't loosen bolts for you. The most important thing to do is get 6-point sockets the car high enough off the ground to swing your wrench. The main thing is not to round off the nuts!

I wasn't trying to imply that once you soak it a few times they'll come off by hand. That's what my impact wrench is for

I read the first 4 pages and the last 2. I didn't find my answer.

I have a leak in my flex pipe and it's starting to smell in the car. Will this Exhaust come with that part? I really don't know much about this but I always try to get the best for my $.
Are there even any left?

^ no the flex pipe doenst come with this. you would need headers with the downpipe/flex pipe. this is from the catalytic converter back to the mufflers

I received my exhaust today as well. (Miami, FL)

However, the box did not include an ATLP sticker {>_<}

Other than that, the piece looks like a true work of art, I will be getting it installed this Saturday and cannot wait to hear my car purrr.

We do have a couple ready for immediate shipping, so order on heeltoeauto.com soon to snag one. It will probably be a year before we could make more.

But I believe those sound clips were for TL-P and the other sound clip was a TL-s but with a high flow cat and headers.

It is not going to sound totally different though. Any difference is going to be really hard if not impossible to tell on youtube. The quality is too poor and the practices are not consistent.

^no, the atlp's come with a new set of nuts, bolts, and gaskets that are 1mm larger than the stock ones (14mm stock, 15mm atlp i think ). you might want to put some anti-seize on the gaskets cuz i took mine off after a few months and the gaskets fell apart and stuck to the ends of the piping. i had to go buy my own gaskets after that :fml:

My feedback:

Installation Annoyance!

*This little nut attached to the catalytic delayed the installation about an hour. It was PB blasted, impacted, smoothed out; had no edges and finally after hitting it with an electric impact chisel and applying a burner to it, it managed to crack open.

Before

After

The exhaust sounds beautiful at low RPMs at higher RPMs it muzzles out and becomes quieter rather than louder.

The best sound I heard was the start-up prior to installing the cans with the tips.

Definitely worth the buy!

Sorry for my inability to provide audio clips, my iphone is horrible with recordings.

Haha when i was taking off the stock exhaust and after taking off the 3 bolts from the cat i spent about 30 minutes trying to get the muffler bolts off when i relized the rest was just held on by hangers. im a dumbass. Yeah i agreee, the sound does disappear in the higher rpms and i was told before that it doesnt. But still a great sound. Its very deep and doesnt sound high pitched and annoying like some other exhaust

hey excel how did you get your to sit flush on the back bumper? mine hangs down a inch and a half from the cutout in the bumper of where it should be. Oh and for that other guy that did all that stuff to get off one bolt, i only had to use a 14 mm sock and a hammer. hahahaha jk im an ass

My right tip does flush with the rear bumper. Nothing special was done to get it to sit like that. I think it has something to do with the rubber hangers. Unortunately my left tip I'd not flushed while my right one is. I'm going to take it tk a muffler shop and see if they can correct the problem.

align the flanges on the mid pipes correctly..

then have 2 people work on the mufflers..

one to hold onto the mufflers and one to HAND TIGHTEN the nuts/bolts for the mufflers...

once everything is hand tightened.. then go ahead and tighten them up with your socket wrench or watever you prefer.. lol
