why not just save the money towards buying the used apexi and save more money and just get it "right" in the first place.

Ya, if your planning on getting ATLP anyways, just save up. No point in getting something temporarily.

Do a search 'exhaust', jjashaa has posted a bunch of youtube clips (Tanage, Apexi, ATLP, Magnaflow, etc). I found it useful when picking out my exhaust, Tanabe SMH

Here are a couple of videos.

..and after the high flow cat

all exhausts sound better in person, and everyone loves their own. i would recommend my setup to everyone.

Thumbs up

now you're just being demanding

my bad dude.
so i actually bought the apex'i wsII and will be getting it hooked by next week. thanks for everything and especially to jjashaa and AdamType-S for the vids. i have been advised to leave the resonators in and just add the catback exhaust. from the clips posted it sounds pretty good even if resonator is not deleted. im a noob with this and when i saw the system today i noticed the long pipe that seems to have a resonator... please forgive my noob-inity im guessing thats what ive been asking for all along. anyway, from the sound and the clips that ive heard leaving it alone might work for me. i have the cai and i just searched that theres a resonator for that and thats gone since i added the CAI. I will be posting videos of the car... its in the shop cuz somebody hit n run my car while i was in the hospital... it sucks! quarter panel, lights, bumper n back lip had to be replaced and body work in the trunk since it was pushed in. Ill keep u updated and again thanks to all.

just keep in mind that the videos dont fully capture the sound, and that goes for all exhausts.. when you first hear the car rumble when you start it up for the first time you'll be impressed and satisfied

Just my two cents since i was in your position. I did alot of searching before i bought mine and still wasn't sure and bought one anyway. (apexi that is). I was not disappointed. It nice and deep sounding. So like adam type-s said you will be satisfied. Not raspy at all. And i know you said you're busy but in my opinion it is a easy quick install.(it bolts right up. I did it by myself in a drive way with a jack and stands and it took no time at all.) Just in case you were considering doing it yourself. Sorry i was bored and this is one of only a couple things i have experience with my tl so i thought i'd post.

No just bolted the cat back apexi up to the cat. I dont think you need to do anything. Sound perfect to me how it is and i doubt doing anything else to the exhaust will give you any gains. i get many compliments on the sound. Like i said its deep absolutely no raspiness(not sure if thats a word) Not to0 loud yet loud enough in my opinion.

^ thanks man. I will be doing this as soon as i get my car from the shop. I dont have stands so im not to sure if i can do it myself. How hard was it taking the bolts off? im really contemplating doin this with 2 - 2 ton crock jacks.

No problem. Mine came off easy.(but i have had problems with other cars being rusted.) Just so you know i found it easier doing it with a ratchet. I tried impact and it stripped a bolt. (not sure what you will use but just my 2 cents.) Make sure you spray the bolts with something a few times before hand and it shouldn't be a problem.I actually sprayed mine right before and they still came off. Jacks stands can be found cheap and you never know when you will need them again. I use mine all the time. Also if you have somebody to help it will be easier it was kinda awkward holding the exhaust and trying to bolt it at the same time.
