Apexi WS2 exhaust system

I was originally thinking about buying the comptech axlebacks but I saw that it made more sense to purchase the Apexi WS2 exhaust since you get a whole cat back system and it is cheaper. My question is, how is the exhaust note? Also, how does it compare to the comptech or any of the other exhaust systems? Owners happy with it? I really dont want it all raspy and sounding like a riced out civic.

Thanks

Man comptech's axle back is 669.00 and the apexi ws2 cat back system is 520.00. Also, can you even use the B pipe for a TL-P?

i'm pretty sure someone used the b-pipe on a tl-p. maybe minor modification? i'm not too sure.

oh i didn't mean buy new! yea $600+ is a rip, but buying used is the best. probably around $300-350, and it holds its value.

plus apexi is not all stainless. booooooo

I have Apexi WS II's and really like them. The sound is deeper and more throaty then comptech IMO. It is also a little louder. I think if you search you may be able to find a sound clip of the Apexi WS II's in action.

trust me if I can find a used set of comptechs I would hop on it in a minute. Nobody seems to want to let theres go, I even posted a WTB on the blackmarket! So it looks like I will have to get the Apexi WS2. How difficult is it to install?

Yes, but keep in mind it is an axle back exhaust system not a cat back. The comptech B pipe will cost you another 400 I think.

I see a lot of people enjoyng Apexi, which is good. I know that some tried to achieve lexus sound (previously mentioned by JnC) with HKS.
Has anyone done HSK on 2G TL? The reson I am asking this, is because I have found a sound clip on youtube with 3G TL...after listening to it, I want nothing else, but that!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=OSflFi272V4

I am trying to see if anyone done it before. I want these soooo bad, but not sure about fitment. As far as HKS website, they say its not available for TL at all, but someone done it, as you can see on the video.

those are HKS carbon ti universal mufflers with custom piping, you can do the same thing, just get the mufflers and go to a muffler shop. I think he actually used the comptech catback piping.
