Only beneficial with a manual trans, and with a lot of power adders. Also, the aggressive tune and turbo cause the flames, not the 2-step.

that's really stupid (no offense) to do that to our cars, whether it can or can't be done, imo. it's a TL for God sakes.

but some people don't have a cat though, but yeah it can damage stuff like that, if on a pretty stock car though

let alone wasting gas
but yeah i don't see why the driver is revving it so much at idle just sitting there, not like they are going anywhare, with the car in front

but you are putting raw fuel into the cat though which is not good for it, even if it does not burn instantly

r u serious? i definitely think u have 2stepping mixed up with a flamethrower kit...

in order to have 2step u need an ignition control box...which is a computer module...then u need a 2step module...which is another computer module(rev control)...then u tune the 2step module...then u have 2step...

does that something u "install in a pipe"?

found instructions for a flamethrower kit on google...read step 2...

INSTALLATION (dual exhaust is next )

1. Mount the control box in a dry location where it won't be disturbed. Under a front seat or in the trunk are popular locations.
2. Install the spark plug(s) 3 to 6 inches from the end of the tail pipe(s).
3. Follow the wiring diagram above to wire up the system -
• FIRST - Disconnect the battery
• Yellow wire from control box goes to one switch connection.
• The second switch connection goes to the positive terminal on the battery
• Wire from positive battery terminal to the fuse and from the fuse to the green wire coming out of the control box
• Black wire from control box goes to ground
• Connect red wire to the positive terminal on the ignition coil
• Ground the coil
• Run spark plug wire (or make your own using 4G or 6G wire) from the coil (center post) to the spark plug. Make sure the spark plug is grounded. TEST for spark without the engine running.

if you are installing a kit like that, now if you tune and get that (like on a race car) that might be another story though

That's anti lag on that evo. You retard timing like crazy, add fuel, giving full boost to launch hard. also causing the backfire you're seeing there, which imo is fucking awesome. My del sol used to that all the time

I was curious about this about a year ago,and was turned away thinking it was only for turbo'ed cars.
This is what first made me interested.

on the evo its 2 step with anti-lag.. the civic just sounds like junk. 2 step and anti-lag are two totally different things.

2steps are awesome on high power, boosted applications. My lil bro has it on his evo and at the track its 17psi of boost off the line.

:jedimindtrick: (waving hand) you don't want this on your car
