but some people don't have a cat though, but yeah it can damage stuff like that, if on a pretty stock car though
let alone wasting gas
but yeah i don't see why the driver is revving it so much at idle just sitting there, not like they are going anywhare, with the car in front

in order to have 2step u need an ignition control box...which is a computer module...then u need a 2step module...which is another computer module(rev control)...then u tune the 2step module...then u have 2step...
does that something u "install in a pipe"?

INSTALLATION (dual exhaust is next )
1. Mount the control box in a dry location where it won't be disturbed. Under a front seat or in the trunk are popular locations.
2. Install the spark plug(s) 3 to 6 inches from the end of the tail pipe(s).
3. Follow the wiring diagram above to wire up the system -
• FIRST - Disconnect the battery
• Yellow wire from control box goes to one switch connection.
• The second switch connection goes to the positive terminal on the battery
• Wire from positive battery terminal to the fuse and from the fuse to the green wire coming out of the control box
• Black wire from control box goes to ground
• Connect red wire to the positive terminal on the ignition coil
• Ground the coil
• Run spark plug wire (or make your own using 4G or 6G wire) from the coil (center post) to the spark plug. Make sure the spark plug is grounded. TEST for spark without the engine running.

I was curious about this about a year ago,and was turned away thinking it was only for turbo'ed cars.
This is what first made me interested.

2steps are awesome on high power, boosted applications. My lil bro has it on his evo and at the track its 17psi of boost off the line.
