Air bag suspension

A friend of mine is trying to talk me into getting a airbag suspension. I want to get my car lowered but he says this is the best alternative. I can raise and lower my car car wen needed. Is this a good idea?

Well I think Air Bags are definitely sick but they are gonna cost a lot more than coilovers.

Adjustable coilovers are a great alternative so you can have some flexibility in the height and save some $$$.

Again, just my opinion...

Oh, most definitely air bags are the nicest set-up, but they are hella-expensive.

If you're going for looks, bags are the way to go. For performance, not so much. If you have the $$, go for it.

If you're not very car technical, I would not advise installing an airbag suspension.

Ride shouldn't be too bad if you go with a good set up

Rough ride when slammed to the ground and if all the way up with a high psi. When you are in the middle ground the ride can be pretty nice. But with anyhtning like that the more money you put into it the better quality you will get. it does put strain on the car if you play with it a lot. Always have a spare bag for if you blow one.

How often do you think you'll really need to raise/lower your car?

Do you need to lift it up to get up driveways?
How low do you want to go?

If it's an issue where you want to raise it up for the winter/lower it for the other seasons, I would suggest coilovers.
