any recommendations for a good replacement filter?

yea i need a new one too. i went on AEM's website got the model number and bought the filter but it was wrong. essentially i had to cut the opening and clamp it to the intake. GHETTTTTTTTTTTO. i need a new filter

y not just get the K&N filter cleaner?? I got a AEM CAI and I did that when it got dirty. Do the V2 not come with a K&N filter?

 

the filter that comes with it is just fine (K&N style) and plenty big enough. You wont get a bigger one from K&N, but you could get an end to it that is a filter also (vs. the plastic end). There isnt much more room behind the bumper to fit a bigger filter.
just get the K&N or AEM filter cleaner and clean it.

you can get a bigger filter from K&N. they have a ton of sizes. you can even get them that are angled so that you could get a better placement of it and get a larger filter in there. (did that on my last AEM)

Yes gue get the K&N filter cleaning kit. (like 10 bucks) follow the instructions and "BAM" new looking filter again!

and if you want it really clean, when your moms not around wash it in the dish washer with the K&N filter cleaning stuff! !

 

yea it comes with a k&n but mine fell off, please dont ask, so i had to get a replacement
