AEM CAI and other performance parts

I already have an AEM CAI installed and within the next month will install xs headers, p2r tb spacer, and possibly UR crank pulley. I am not planning to get exhaust for the car because I want to keep the stock look. Will I be robbed the power from the parts I will install without installing an exhaust? Is it better to put an exhaust to pair everything together or I will be fine without the exhaust? Hope someone can answer because I want install these other parts but NO EXHAUST. haha
In addition..

My Intake started making a humming noise that is pretty noticeable during idle especially in the morning and night time. Almost like someone is blowing a trombone. Is this normal? My dad told me because its too much air flow and the exhaust/muffler in a sense cant't handle it. Is this true? Another thing is the emission valve is ticking like crazy now sometimes during idle and acceleration. Can I fix this by replacing something? I ask another member and they said it was normal and theres nothing we can do about it. Clarify plzz someone.. HELP!!!

1. the aem cai and other intakes will make a hum noise at idle. the comptech icebox is the quietest intake out there.
2. your not getting too much air flow that the exhaust cant handle. your getting the same amount of air on idle its just more free flowing.
3. you wont lose any power with the mods that your going to do. an exhaust would help out the headers but not necessary.
4. ever since i had my car i also had the ticking noise. its normal but if u want i read that you could replace it and it goes away, but im not sure on that one.
5. search the forum is you think your car is acting up. dont rely on your dad unless he has some experience in that field.
