'99 TL -- Cheap Pilot CAI or K&N Filter?
I have no $$$, but I need an air filter. I was just going to pop in a K&N Filter, but I can get a CAI from a company called Pilot for under $80.
I wish I could get an AEM V2, but alas, it's not in the cards for right now.
So, between the Pilot PM613 CAI or the K&N air filter, which would you choose?
Thanks for your thoughts!

neither?
Get the pilot CAI now and throw a K&N cone on there. Just keep in mind that you're going to spend either 250+ for the V2 new, when in reality it's just a piece of pipe with a filter on it.
Id pass on the K&N now if you're really looking to save money, cause 2 months down the road you're just going to replace the K&N with an intake of some sort.
just pony up an extra appx. 50 bucks and get a K&N cone with the pilot CAI
