Your car came with a cold air intake from the factory, why bother changing it?

There are a few short rams floating around by k&n, but I honestly feel it doesn't do much performance wise. It sounds really good at WOT, but that's about it. Highly suggest against a cold air intake, because then you'll have to worry about your car hydro locking when it rains. So, you'll have to buy a hydro shield and maybe think about purchasing a heat shield.

OP, are you trying to go for performance gains or just listening to the cool woosh sounds?
