1999 Acura TL when to replace the timing belt?
I own a 1999 acura tl and the current mileage is 104k. I know the manual says to replace the timing belt at 105k but I would want to know if others have replaced it at that time, or if it's safe to wait longer?

Change it now. My neighbor got 99tl and I told him to change but ignored. " boom" timing belt broken. With it he only got $400 when he traded in with Honda Accord. You'll never know what happen tomorrow. It's time for timing belt and water pump.

I had mine done at 100000 miles but they didn't replace the tensioner pulleys. At 130000 one seized up and had to get it replaced again
I wouldn't take a chance because when it does go out you are going no where

Age is FAR WORSE than mileage as far as rubber goes. If you do a lot of driving i would be more comfortable going well beyond 100k (in fact i did, i went to took) but i did that in under 7 years.
