1999 Acura TL when to replace the timing belt?

I own a 1999 acura tl and the current mileage is 104k. I know the manual says to replace the timing belt at 105k but I would want to know if others have replaced it at that time, or if it's safe to wait longer?

I'd say it's really unlucky to let it go 13 years even with low mileage.

Change it now. My neighbor got 99tl and I told him to change but ignored. " boom" timing belt broken. With it he only got $400 when he traded in with Honda Accord. You'll never know what happen tomorrow. It's time for timing belt and water pump.

I had mine done at 100000 miles but they didn't replace the tensioner pulleys. At 130000 one seized up and had to get it replaced again I wouldn't take a chance because when it does go out you are going no where

Age is FAR WORSE than mileage as far as rubber goes. If you do a lot of driving i would be more comfortable going well beyond 100k (in fact i did, i went to took) but i did that in under 7 years.
