My apologies if this has been answered before, I looked but could not find the answer. I purchased a Comptech Icebox for my TL and the K&N Filter for it. From what I saw on the forum the correct filter model was RU-2590. I tried to put it in but it does not fit. The filter does not fit onto the intake pipe. It seems they are both the same size where as the filter part is supposed to be a little big to fit over and have the fastner tighten the seal. Let me know if i am doing something (which is very possible) or if there is somethign wrong with the filter. I emailed the place I bought the filter from they said that you need an adapter. I checked on teh forum and could not find anything about a filter that would go onto this intake. Any help would be great. Thanks.

That's the right K&N part number. I didn't install the CT Icebox myself, but the installer said the filter was a very tight fit, but he was able to make it fit without any modifications to the Icebox or the filter. I've had the K&N filter on my Icebox for about a year and a half with no problems or damage to either the Icebox or the filter. All I can say is keep trying.

yes, this filter is the correct one. But is very tight and is very hard to put it on, took me a couple of minutes the do it.

heat teh end of the filter (the rubber part that slides over) and it will stretch easier to fit.
