Hi guys, does anybody know if the Zymol Cleanser Wax is supposed to work as a regular wax???

I just waxed my whooooooole nighthawk black TL with it and i've been reading posts saying about some other Natural Whatnot Zymol wax.... i hope i didn't freakin end up using a polish on my whole damn car!!!!

i think it's one of those multi-purpose things
i have doubts about that kind of products, because a cleaner is supposed to strip wax, so how does it clean the paint then apply a new coat of wax at the same time?

the "zymol" wax that you find at autozone, etc...is not actually made by zymol, it's made by turtle wax...It works okay, but I wouldn't use it on a black car.. THe real zymol wax is from germany and is about 40 bucks a jar, and that's the cheapest stuff, they have some waxes for 100+ dollars. I bought the 40 dollar stuff and it is okay, but I still like my Meguiars No. 26 paste the best.

Zymol is a good wax I loved zymol until I discovered Zaino. Zymol leaves too much white chalky stuff after you buff the car though but it is good for what it is.

Zymol was never made in Germany - it was origonally made in Connecticut, then the guy sold out, now Turtle wax formulates it - it is pleasant to use, but in my opnion one of the greatest hypes in the history of wax.

Zaino is the best I have ever used - it is not a wax at all.

To answer the original question thew Zymol Cleaner/Wax is not a polish, it is a ...cleaner-wax. How can it clean and wax someone asked. Very well. It is known as chemistry, with components that first use solvents and mild cleaning abrasives to lift the dirt to the surface, while the wax moves below. When you cloth it, the dirt is removed, and the shine left.
