OK, I am thinking of giving Zaino a try.

I noticed that the use of 100% cotton towels is stressed over and over.

Would microfiber towels work as well?

I've found them to be far superior to cotton in all aspects of the detailing work I've done. Not too mention that I have a sh!tload of them and would hate to think that they'd be useless with the Zaino system

I saw in a previous post that someone said Sal doesn't recommend them at this time since he hasn't fully tested them.

What kind of results have you had? I have never noticed mine to cause any scratches or swirls.

The only thing I used the cotton towels for was for the product removal and that was just because the bath towels were bigger. Use microfiber for the z6.
