ok so i had a thread a few weeks ago about a failed transmission it has been a little over 500 miles and my transmission is ****** up AGAIN after honda tried to screw me numerous ways i made a call to acura and spoke with a very nice woman who was more than willing to help me. well let me just say i got a full refund. now my question as i have a friends 02 or 03? Cl sitting in the dirt track behind my house, aside from the obvious like ecu and trans (yeah i know about the failure rate, his car only had 24k when totalled) is the wiring the same? what exactly will be needed to change from my 4 speed to 5 speed. yes i searched but not really a clear answer was found some one help please? i would really like to try this, i loved the accel and gas improvement in the 5 speed

 

y didnt you just get them to replace the one that was obviously rebuilt wrong with a good one.

As for whats involved? no one has done it yet. Id be willing to bet the dash wiring will have to be swapped out with a 00 to 01TL (not cl) ecu shifter gauges motor
