Bit the dust bout 1am this morning 61k miles original transmission.(01 TL)
Hope the whole process to get a new tranny isn't a pain in the ass. I told my dad this morning and hes was all like blah blah damn foreign cars its probably because you used that damn sport shifter thing.

No problem- the dealer is very used to this situation
Tell Dad its got nothing to do with the driving style or SS
- its an internal part wear issue with the clutch pack failure
Thats why 109K extended warranty for us
Show me an American car with that type of coverage!!!

Just call the dealer and tell them you are bringing it in and need a loaner car PLEASE!
Loaner car not applicable to under 21 or 25 years depending on dealer.

OR have it towed in if your have bad symtoms.
Sometimes the car works perfect for a few days after initial signs
Tell them to keep it as long as they need.
A box of fresh donuts goes a long way towards goodwill when you take the car in,
ESPECIALLY on Mondays! They have a shop meeting on monday morning

Dont be surprised if you need a front motor mount
See other threads regarding actual cost of 120$ part and 30$ labor versus dealer attempt to charge 3 hours labor or $400- sorry, not when trans is out- its only 3/10ths of an hour!

Good Luck
