ok, so for christmas my dad got me a pair of foglights for my tl. i'm positive they are the ones for the 02-03 tl (the long skinny ones) and i have an 01 tl. im sure they are the wrong ones even thought the box says 99-03 tl. it looks like to get them to fit they will have to cut into the bumper and make a custom fit . so what should i do? i know he paid alot of money for them, should i have them custom fitted? would it look ok? anybody know anyone who has this? opinions please....

 

They're not going to work. Totally wrong shape. Return them and look for something else.

Your dad wanted to get you some cool new fogs. He wants you to use 'em. Having the wrong thing sitting in a drawer doesn't make either of you feel better.

Get the right ones, put 'em in and show 'em off.

 

Try to return them first. I'd much rather custom fit a nicer pair of foglights.

 

Or go for an 02-03 conversion! All you need now is the front bumper, headlights, fenders, hood, and other misc parts.
