Would you trade TLS for TLX????

Hey all,

I brought my TLS in for service....fixed damage done by mice...and I got a chance to drive the TLX....The sales guys told me I can drive away with TLX if I do this:

Background info:
I have a 02 TLS;It was lease in 08/01;I paid 400/mth;resisdual is 17500.....16900miles.....48mth lease....

He told me I can be in the TLX for 400/mth if I put down 3000. I did have a negative equity on my TLS of $3000. They told me my TLS is only worth 23500.

Would you guys do this deal?

sorry guys...tsx...my bad...yeah I had mice in my engine compartment...it ate some of my insullation causing vibration noise from my heater...time to get some mouse trap ...

anyways, back to the tsx..it is a very sweet looking car..the nav is huge and voic ativated too...the only thing I don't like is that there is not memory seat and passenger side is manual....

Wow, I've never heard of mice doing damage to cars before! First time for everything, I guess.

And speaking of "manual"...you can get the TSX with a manual transmission. That's a very tempting proposition

Isn't a TSX a step down from a TL-S? I mean, geez, 4-cylinders?

hell no!!
i'd never trade in TL-S for a TSX.
6 cylinder for a 4?!! TSX has a very hot interior and thats about it.
KEEP THE TL-S!!

YOu have a mice in ur engine? how did it get in there in the frist place. Unless you leave ur hood open, i dun think a mouse can get it the engine compartment.

I've seen a lot of problems with mice. They seem to like to make a nest in the air filter box. They chew wires and the plastic from a harness. The worst that I've seen I had to replace an engine and the engine harness. The little critter ate a hole in the air filter which allowed something to get sucked into the engine. What ever got sucked in slightly bent a valve. A 300 zx twin turbo isn't a fun motor to pull nor is replacing the engine harness while the motor is out...dashboard needs to be pulled from the firewall.

I'd never trade in a TL-S for an overpriced TSX. The design isnt that impressive and a fully loaded one is pretty close to what you pay for a bigger and nicer TL.

I still cant comprhend this whole mice in the engine?!?!?

Naw dude, don't do it. First of all you'd be losing two cylinders and sixty horsepower. What could you possibly be thinkin'. Don't get me wrong, I have been inside a TSX and know how nice the car is, and saying that, it is not even in the same ballpark as the TL or TL-S!

If your thinking in getting into the TSX go with the Accord. My 50 cents.

the TLX was the prototype 2nd Generation TL that, it looked more aggressive. They never released the prototype version instead they released the more conservated 99-01 TL

I can't find the picture of the front, but i think it cam with fog lights.

I would opt for an Accord V6 Coupe in a sixspeed configuration, with Navi, heated seats a real e-brake power everything... no memory seats but thousands below a tl-s... that is if I wanted to lose two doors and 20 horsies.

from a future owner's perspective, there is no way i would consider the TSX over the 2003 TL-S, much less a "regular" TL (incidentally, what does the 'P' in TL-P stand for?). at a similar pricepoint, i still feel that the '03 TL gives you more for your money, engine and class foremost among them. The TSX is basically the poor man's IS300 :p
