Question Would it work?

So i am thinking about changing my front signals but i was thinking - what if i put a single filament bulb in instead of a double filament this way it only blinked when i put my signals on ?

You can use the same bulb, just put tape on the 5w terminals. Other bulb (single filament) won't fit unless you do some shaving at the base of the bulb

I think it will just stay on instead of blinking.

Yeah I don't think it'll work the way you want. If it does though keep us posted.

The only reason i would think it would work is becasue on my last car i had a similar bulb and my alarm would go on and off and the low wattage would blink and ever couple of months the lower wattage would blow but the highter wattage still worked so it only blinked when my signal was on. So i figured it would work here also?
