Would Acura replace my CD Player for this?

Hey guys, havent been in these forums for forever but I have a question for you guys. My mom has a 2001 Acura 3.2TL and the CD Player can't play burned CDs for shit. I've never tried a regular CD, but I've burned a lot of CDs and it plays them but when changing the tracks it takes up to 1-2 minutes for it to play the song, and while its changing i hear some wierd noises from the cd player like scratching noise.

So anyway, you guys think Acura would replace the CD player under warranty? Speaking of warranty, do Acura warranties end at the end of the year or just 5 years from the date you bought it?

Try looking at the quality of your burner. I had a similar problem only to find that it was the bad quality burner. As for warranties, they start measuring it the day of delivery and so it would end at the the month/milage from the day you bought it. Hope that made sense.

this is a beating to death subject. the TL radio hates CD-R's! many dealers will replace under warrant (iff you are still under warranty) it dosent matter how you bur, what type of CD you use or the speed. the BLOSE radio doesnt like CD-R's

the warr start from date of sale and the dealer will replace the radio if you say that the cds get stuck in there and wont come out(common problem having to do with the trays getting warped) dont mention the cd-rs or you'll just get a load of crap from them like the rest of these responces.
BTW never had a problem w cd-rs even the realy cheap "GQ" ones from Fry's, no matter who burns them.
oh ya and Pioneer makes the head unit not Bose, they make the seperate EQ/Amp and speakers.

One more time. . .

Yes, the TL HU's will play CD-R's. My '99 is living proof. It's not the CD-R's or the speed, it is the burner itself. I wrote an explanation a while back (starting about 2/3's to 3/4's of the way down):

Acura did not replace my CD changer

My CD changer is not woking and it's been a year.
My CD-R cds are stock in player so I went to dealer but
they could not replace it because I used CD-R Cds.
Currently Im looking for replace one in ebay.
