Would the Acura dealer install spark plugs?
Just curious. Or could I do it myself? Is it that easy like I have read it in the owners manual?

it's very easy with the right tools. I changed plugs on 2 99/00 TL's in the past two weeks. The 99 was a lot easier than my 2000 because there's more room behind the engine in the 99 to get to the rear 3.

Most dealers will install parts at their normal hourly rate - I've also had good luck with reptuable local auto shops - NOT the chains, the small mom & pop shops that have been in business for generations where dad watches his sons do all the work.
That being said, changing plugs isn't hard - just make sure you have the right spark plug socket, take your time, never force anything, be sure to gap the plugs correctly, and to put a spot of oil on the threads before installing.
