Question Would 225/50-ZR-17 tires rub on (17x7.5) rims with stock suspension?

"Tirerack" says that the widest possible tire that would fit in the 3.2 TL without any rubbing with a full load is 215/50-17....I have been running 225/55-ZR16 on stock rims, without any rubbing whatsoever (even during long fast drives with a full load), for the past 8 months.....would there be a difference when the 225s (in size 225/50-17) are fitted onto (17x7.5) rims (when compared to 225s on the stock rims) ?

Assuming that the "offset" is proper, would there be any fitment/clearance issues ? Would the wheel stick out of the wheel well, since the (17x7.5) size is 1" wider than stock (16x6.5) ?

Thanks in advance...
