Windshield wiper coverage

Windshield wiper coverage
Just bought an '03 TL-P with 50k miles. I really love this car. Very smooth & comfy.
I have only one complaint, and it's a strange one. I find the windshield wiper coverage really annoying. My wipers leave a huge arc untouched at the bottom of the window on the driver's side; and a large vertical area at the right edge passenger side.
Is this something other people notice? Or could it be my car's got the wrong wiper blades? I live in northern California where it's often semi-foggy or lightly raining ... not enough rain to clean the windshield, but just enough to leave these large areas dirty.

Never had an issue with my car. Perhaps the factory ones were replaced with shorter ones by the previous owner.
Measure the ones you have, go to the auto store, and compare. The OEM ones were 2 different sizes for the Drivers & Passenger sides; the drivers side being a few inches longer.

Adjust the wiper arms first Unscrew the nut on top of the arm-14MM socket if I remember right. Carefully pry the arm off and move it down on the window a little. Nuts should be SNUG not tightens real tight as to not bend the arm. If this doesn't fix the problem then you probably need PARTS #11 and #12 on the diagram in the link above. I just replaced the arms = #11 and #12 because the driver's side was occationally traveling too far and hittting the edge of the wondow trim. The plastic caps on these arms wear out depending on how much you use the wipers. BAD DESIGN honda has been using for many many years. They are easy to change and come pregreased. It took me about 1/2 hour to remove the plastic trim and wiper arms to get to them. They snap right off and the new ones press right on. Cost about $49 bucks for both arms=#11 and #12. I ordered them online from an Acura Dealer online. It hasn't rained here since I replaced then last week. As soon as it does rain and I'm sure that this fix worked, I'll post photos and specific directions. I had to replace them in my 91 Accord couple of years ago, so I was familier with the procedure.

Fishfry,
I recently had the issue that Luke7 is talking about and I that does not seem to be what you are concernec about. The correct size is 19 for the passenger and 24 for the drivers side. I typically use Bosch blades and have had no problems with the. I replace them, on average, every 6 months. There is a bit of an arc at the bottom center of the windshield and the passenger side. Another problem recently talked about is the fact the it seems that the wiper doesn't make contact with the windshield on the far passenger side towards the bottom. I am not sure that there is a fix for what you are talking about, but if you figure one out, please share the knowledge.

I ended up putting in an oversized blade
I had 23" blade on the driver side. I looked at the 24" and it would not have made much difference.
Evidently, the dirt pattern I see with the 23 or 24 inch blade doesn't bother anyone else ... but it was annoying to me.
The guy at Kragan suggested I try a 26" blade. That worked. It's exactly the right size to not bump into anything; and the reduction in dirt area on the bottom made all the difference to my perception.
Thanks to everyone who responded.

I am using the new Bosch ION blades and really like them- after many years of using Bosch Micro Edge- these new ones blow even their own product away. If you live in snow- you need these- no external parts to freeze- everything inside the blade
If you get rain- you need these, no aero lift- less wind noise- check them out
Also clean your windshield exterior with rubbing alcohol to remove old gook and treat with carnuba wax or rainx or your fave window product. No more spaces of dirt, it rolls or blows off!
